"Shift" - Mobility in the future exhibition (Berlin)

My main responsibility in the “Shift” exhibition was the development of a modular construction system used across most of the exhibits. The exhibition explored sustainability in the automotive industry, making reusability and material efficiency key design drivers throughout the project.

The system was designed to enable flexible assembly of exhibition elements while ensuring that all materials and furniture could be reused after the event. This approach reduced waste and allowed the infrastructure to be repurposed beyond the exhibition context.

The modular system and exhibits were commissioned by Archimedes Exhibitions for the Volkswagen Group.

Marble run exhibit (Wolfsburg)

The Marble Run is an interactive exhibit designed and developed for the Phaeno Science Center in Wolfsburg. The installation translates simple physical principles into an engaging, hands-on experience where visitors can explore motion, gravity, and timing through a playful system of guided paths and mechanical elements.

Commissioned by Archimedes Exhibitions, the exhibit was created as an intuitive learning environment that encourages experimentation and direct interaction. The design focuses on clarity, robustness, and repeatable user engagement in a public exhibition context.

Four in a Row Exhibit (Paderborn)

An interactive installation where visitors play “Four in a Row” against an AI opponent. The exhibit was designed and developed by me as a playful introduction to human–machine interaction and decision-making systems.

Code Lab Exhibition (Paderborn)

For the Code Lab exhibition, my role focused on the development of interactive media stations, including four identical compact stations and a custom-built table housing a 55” 4K touch display.

The setup was designed to support hands-on engagement with digital content and computational concepts in a museum context.

Cosm ergonomic chair

As part of the Studio 7.5 team, I contributed to the development of the Cosm ergonomic chair, focusing on the integration of its core design principles of adaptive ergonomics, passive support, and user-independent comfort. The work combined advanced mechanical design with a strong emphasis on intuitive use, aiming to create a seating experience that automatically responds to the user without manual adjustments.

My involvement included supporting the refinement of the chair’s functional mechanisms and contributing to the iterative development process within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Ey Alter – It’s all in your mind Exhibition (Berlin)

The “Ey Alter” exhibition was an immersive experience space exploring perception and mindset through spatial storytelling and large-scale installations. My role focused on the development of key physical elements within the exhibition, including the stage design, seating benches, and the central sculptural highlight – a 6.20-meter-high “head” that acted as the spatial and conceptual focal point.

The work required translating conceptual ideas into built form, balancing narrative intent with structural feasibility and visitor interaction. The spatial elements were designed to support an engaging flow through the exhibition while reinforcing its central theme of perception and inner perspective.

The exhibits were commissioned by Archimedes Exhibitions for Daimler AG, with the concept developed by GfG / Gruppe für Gestaltung.

Wind Sculpture (Beijing)

A site-specific wind sculpture designed for the Pinggu Science Center in Beijing. The installation translates natural wind movement into a dynamic visual experience, creating continuously changing forms driven by environmental conditions.

Commissioned by Archimedes Exhibitions for the Pinggu Science Center, the work explores the relationship between nature, motion, and perception through large-scale kinetic expression.

Metaform Portfolio – Modular Space Partitioning System

As part of the Studio 7.5 team, I contributed to the development of the Metaform Portfolio, a modular system for flexible space partitioning. The project explores how adaptable architectural elements can create responsive environments that support different working, meeting, and spatial configurations.

My involvement focused on the iterative development of the system within a multidisciplinary team, helping refine its functional and structural principles to ensure flexibility, scalability, and ease of reconfiguration across different spatial contexts.
